Hiking Club Trail Description

The trail starts and ends at the picnic area. The trail winds through a mature hardwood forest, then returns along the Little Iowa River and Lake Louise. Encounter an array of wildflowers — including the nodding wild onion, a Minnesota threatened species — and birdlife ranging from warblers to woodpeckers to green herons.
