Hiking Club Trail Description

Leaving the picnic area, follow the trail as it winds through woodlands and along the shores of West Sunburg Lake and Monson Lake before returning to the campground and picnic area. In spring, experience a display of wildflowers plus the sounds and sights of many colorful songbirds. White pelicans, great egrets, and numerous waterfowl are commonly seen on or near West Sunburg and Monson lakes.
